Powering it is its illustrious original handwound movement. And this is no ordinary mechanical engine.

It is very finely crafted, on par in quality and craftsmanship with only the very top tier of watches by the likes of Patek Philippe, other Vacheron & Constantins, and Audemars Piguet. It was not only originally crafted and adjusted to run accurately across five positions and a wide range of temperatures as the movement states, it was also designed to keep consistent time regardless of how much wind was left in the mainspring (isochronism). In most watches the rate changes the power reserve lessens.

Measuring just over 25mm wide by 37.5mm long, it is a men midsize size like other small dress watches from the era, well-suited for a man who doesn't have large wrists or a woman wanting a fuller size watch.

It has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in beautiful condition. Our photos couldn't begin to do it justice!

Its case presents as mint with previous restoration to the lugs. Its dial has been meticulously custom refinished - the printing could pass as V & C factory done to the naked eye. And its incredibly fine handwound movement looks near pristine.

As part of the restoration, it has just been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is running strong and true, keeping very accurate time. 

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new aftermarket lizard strap and aftermarket buckle done in a high-end vintage style making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
